Dr. Trupti Jhaveri Panchal

Dr. Trupti Jhaveri Panchal is an Assistant Professor at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai and the Chairperson of RACE Lab and Samvedna. Her academic and research work has focused on violence against women, counseling, and social work practice. 

Dr. Trupti is the Project Director of the Resource Centre for Intervention on Violence Against Women and Special Cell for Women & Children in Maharashtra. She has worked with 15 states and union territories and has set up over 250 offices of Special Cells in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Delhi, and Haryana. She has also worked closely with multiple networks of women’s groups, NGOs, and other organizations.

Dr. Trupti is the Chairperson of Vikalp Sansthan in Rajasthan and a member of the Board of Trustees of Humsafar, Uttar Pradesh. She serves on the Internal Complaints Committee for Sexual Harassment at Workplace of several government departments, PSUs, corporates, and law firms.
